I opted for the HMV Limited Edition with SteelBook, and I have to say I was a little disappointed with what I received...
First of all, I had expected it to have been an all-in-one package, with the game sealed inside the SteelBook. This was not the case, and I was very surprised to receive two separate HMV boxes yesterday morning, one containing the LE copy of the game, and the other the SteelBook
Secondly, the SteelBook was not what I had expected. It was just pain black with the Battlefield 3 logo on the front, and some artwork inside. Pretty dull if you ask me, especially when I had expected the Battlefield 3 artwork to be printed on the front (similar to the Swedish MediaMarkt SteelBook)
So disappointed twice with this one. Had I known that the SteelBook was going to be separate, I would have probably just waited until it was released and bought the SteelBook on its own off eBay and then bought the game separately later on when all the hype had died down and the price drops. I'm not a fan of the Battlefield games at all, and didn't really want the game, but now I'm stuck with it.
Oh well, another lesson learnt, and one more mistake to add to the collection. I'm sure I'll recover from it soon enough and forget all about it, but it's times like this that make me wonder why I bother collecting when all I get is disappointment
