Base goal to fund the game has already been met. At present time (so late on a Friday night that it's now Saturday
), the PS Vita version is only about $25,000 away from having its' stretch goal met.
If the PS Vita stretch goal is met a Frontwing/TOM campaign representative announced the Limited Run Games will be the publisher of the PS Vita version. Limited Run Games has since formally followed up saying that the game will be released twice if the Vita stretch goal is met. There will be a KickStarter backer exclusive cover variant followed up sometime in the future by a standard LRG limited run release, likely at minimum of two months after the KS Backers have had their items shipped out. Doug of Limited Run Games has even said if this gets funded that the KS backer's only cover version will likely be a even more limited print cover art variation than the 1,000 copies-only PlayStation Experience Expo blue cover art variant of Oddworld Stranger's Wrath HD, was sold pre-official LRG launch at said expo. The official sale/launch date of the game to the general public was only just yesterday (Friday, December 16th).
