They're giclees. They're similar to a lithograph, but they are higher quality and use archival grade ink and paper. The printing technique on these makes it look like you can see the actual individual brushstrokes on the image (and they damage and scratch as easily as a true painting would... I can see the nicks in 2 of them from my framer
