I think all of this could've been avoided through simple communication by Scanavo. If they were planning on releasing more copies of the steel later in other regions, they should've described the E3 Steel as "USA E3 exclusive" or something. Simply writing "E3 Exclusive" made it sound like this steel was only being offered during E3, which led to a lot of people on Ebay selling it for an inflated price and collectors buying it based on that false premise.
I've seen this steel go for as much as $100 USD on eBay, and do feel bad for people who paid that believing that they were getting an exclusive steel only released for E3.
I support everyone who shares the steelbook collecting hobby, so I do not want to complain to Scanavo and take away the chances for other collectors to get this steelbook. But, we should ask them to be more upfront about release plans for future steels so this doesn't happen again.
