Default Re: LE, SE, CE collector mainly for 7th generation games

So, I found this item through my saved search page on eBay and later found out that the seller was a member here. I paid for the item as shown below on the day after I won the item through a bid:

So, 4 days later the item does not show as shipped, so I send a seller a message with his response on top:

Everything looks to be in order and I also mention to him that we're part of the same forum and I will display the statue on my thread:

Everything was going fine until the item was received damaged. I explained what happened and this was his response:

So to recap, I paid for the item on Oct 26th, the day after I won the bid. Nov. 7th is when the item arrived and I message the seller the damage and send him the pics:

I send another email on the 9th requesting a response:

And his reply below:

So, Nov 16th rolls around and I haven't received a response. I shoot him another message:

And his reply below:

Nov 21st, I shoot another update message. This time asking if returning was an option. So, just be aware, I was trying to return the item for my refund due to the damage since I had not resolved this situation after 2 weeks:

Here is his response to me stating that I would have to wait for Canada Post's response and would have no recourse since the item was opened to begin with:

To which I'm thinking, how would I know if the statue was damaged if I hadn't opened it?

So, as you can see on Nov 29th, 22 days after starting this discussion, I file a claim with eBay with the explanation below:

And, his response to that:

So, on Dec 3rd, he gives me an update from Canada Post:

On Dec 6th, at this point, I contact eBay as I'm unsure what to make of this whole timeframe that Canada Post is considering for their investigation as I know that these things can be time sensitive. Ebay recommended I continue forward with them mediating the transaction:

To which I receive a response from the seller with a little bit of condescending attitude:

And I was told by eBay that I would not have to worry about shipping charges as a shipping label would be provided for the return. So, I did not respond as I was just waiting for the label.

Here, the seller acknowledges that eBay would be in charge of the shipping issue here and the seller requested photos of the item:

To which, I promptly did that day:

So, late last night eBay sent a resolution of the issue and decided in my favor. To note, I had no hand in eBay's decision as you can see all of my communication with the seller and eBay were in the texts above:

To which I receive a barrage of messages from the seller accusing me of stealing, calling me a liar, berating me, racial slurs and profanity:

You can see why I never responded to the seller. I had also issued a complaint/report with eBay for the vulgarity and the seller sent me this response:

To make this all the more puzzling, is I even had the item boxed up and ready to go to be shipped back waiting for the shipping label which I never received:

And now, this guy decides to attack me on here and messages me with more vulgarity:

I have yet to have a bad experience with sellers on the forums and on eBay, that could not be resolved, but you sir, have got to be the most childish person I have come across. If I were to make a suggestion, I would impose anyone here to not deal with this seller if you value your satisfaction when things go wrong. You come here and make a half-lazy attempt at an introduction and use it to market yourself to sell your collection. You do not get to tarnish my reputation here when you have not contributed to this community.

I DID consider trying to work with you, even after the fact, since the box is still wrapped up for shipping but after all of your incessant insults and irreparable behavior, I have considered to charge a price for each abusive word. I think we are about even.
