My PO is like 5 mins from home & my missus usually checks it every morning. They know us there too so either of us can sign for the other's packages.
Having a PO Box works for some people, not so much for others.

Yeah it's a little different stateside. I've got a post office about 2 miles form my house and would love for them to do it. But the extra day delay is the main killer for me. I agree, I could ship packages USPS, but not all sellers offer it.
