It's a PAL version, trust me. It does have a french description on the back though for some weird reason.
It really seems like a stealth release here in AUS (unlike those exclusive EB Games CEs). I was not even aware of it until I saw a listing on GAME AU for it.
As far as I know, only a few places are selling it (and GAME AU has sold out). Two listings below I can confirm are selling the PAL version.

Ask the AU forwarders if you're interested (not me though..). It also seems that this is online only. I doubt I'll ever see this at an actual store...

I can confirm that the AUS certifications
are printed on both the CE box and the copy of the game itself.
