I haven't really had a horrifying experience with Zavvi myself, but I'm reluctant in ordering heavy CE's from them since the MGS debacle
I normally receive my CE's from them in cardboard boxes in the past...haven't ordered anything big from them in a while.
As for thehut, I've mainly order standard size games and clothing...several items of my orders never turned up [to which I got a refund] and many took literally a month of more to arrive!
