Of course I'd get stung for purchasing on day one, but as a collector, that's the risk I take if I don't want to miss out...if it really was limited in quantity and not available after release. That often does happen [here], but then again some CE's pop up out of nowhere on sale a year or so after release.

True,being stung is a risk we all take,most of the time it pays off other times you dont really loose to much anyway. Agreed,EB AU has that weird habit of finding things that dont exist & selling them. I think most of the time they are returns that are put away as they cant sell them new,then are remembered about & put on sale. I remember a few months back their website listed Assassins Creed Codex Editions for $25,the minute i found out i went to get one but none could be found but,i did find a bioshock 2 speacial edition sealed though
The animus version i got was xbox 360,i dont generally worry about any other version of things. When i asked about it,they couldnt find any in AU left,i was just lucky the manager was there & remembered he had one put away.
I was late on the wagon for this as i was getting one elsewhere but it fell through,luck was on my side this time.
So maybe its a ploy saying there a limited run,but they do sell out of some things real quick.
Also eb games have this price match thingy as you know & generally if you say the right thing you can get things a bit cheaper,even if what you say is a little BS
