You do make a good point hippeedude. You never no one day people won't be interested in collecting video games anymore, video game collecting market could just crash one day. But the reason why I say that mass produced collectors edition won't be worth as much because just on this website how many collectors do we have, so just imagine how many there are in the entire world. The only way I really see mass produced collectors go up in value is because not everyone actually keeps them sealed.
