Actually Ubi Shop is being totally dishonest. I pre-ordered from there yesterday and, despite it being quite clear from the FAQ that they do not charge until just before shipping, I was charged immediately on debit card.
This thing about them being able to do it because the discount voucher is downloadeable is bullshit too. Nowhere on the pre-order info is that made clear in any shape or form.
If they are so desperate to get my money now then they can fuck right off because I'm about to cancel in 15 minutes when the phone lines open. I mean, do any games publishers do business properly these days ??
I promised myself that i was going to preorder nothing on line this year because I'm sick of all the hassle. I really fancied this, though, and with the toss-up being between Ubishop and Gamestop (who do take your money straight away) i thought this was the safest bet.
