I know, especially as it's a relatively new shitty thing that they've implemented. If I click to receive on release day, they ship it a few days before, maybe between 4 and 7 days before (depending if there is a weekend in the middle) whereas if you don't pay for fast shipping, they ship on the day before release!
Which is obviously so they are intentionally not gonna get it to you on release
And they no doubt use the same shipping method so it's not costing them any more to get it to you on release, they just ship it a bit earlier
