The exception being rarer games, but they will always most often be worth less than the normal copy. Metal Gear solid 3 Subsistence is a prime example. If you can get promo copies for a relatively small amount and sealed then I would say it's a good bet the value will increase.
They sometimes released promo for games, which eventually get cancelled and those are worth a considerable amount.

Ok,so a promo game is worth more sealed,if thats the case whats Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands & Splinter Cell Conviction promo games worth then?
Both are still factory sealed & i know they arent re-seals.
