Yes, Gamestop stores in the U.S. are everywhere like McDonald's. They are nationwide and also global:

And since Gamestop storefronts tend to be smaller than a lot of retail stores, I guess it's very easy to start up these businesses. It's no wonder why so many have sprung up over the years.
