Also, I would just like to say that the guy who has said that PS3 consoles are the only region free blu-ray players, in one of your links, is wrong. The PS3 isn't region free. It's the actual disks themselves which are region free. Most are region free, but some of them may have region locks in place. This is all down to the publisher. So don't be lead into thinking that just because you have you have a PS3, you will be able to play these on there, if they are region locked. This is the same for games too, even though there hasn't been a region locked game so far, there is still the option for publishers to do so... lol
Just trying to look out for importers who plan on watching these copies.
Also, the Region thing, just to be picky, Blu-rays have different region coding. Region A - USA, Canada and Asian countries, Region B - Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Region C - Russia and India (Apparently). Mainly Regions A and B are used. Regions 0-8 are used for DVDs.
Anyway, if this truly is region locked, I will be cancelling my pre-order. Will wait for some solid evidence to indicate this.
