The obscure stickerbooks that are mentioned are NL MediaMarkt exclusives from the Netherlands.
One important difference between stickerbooks and steelbooks is minimum production amounts. I.E. in the past I heard that for a true steelbook to be produced, you have to order around 8000. (I think they might have brought that down to 4000). While for stickerbooks it's like 500 units or something. Just look at all the statue, lithos etc. as always lowering the supply increases the price people are willing to pay by increasing rarity, exclusivity etc.
Btw anyone know how many Darksider II steelbooks were produced? I remember someone quoting 1000 but that seems super low for a steelbook run.
