I was speaking of the Japanese/Asian LE consoles, not the North American one (there's only been one officially released at retails stores). And I wasn't counting special custom consoles only made for contests and charities. I had to presume @
rockchalk was inquiring about PS3 consoles available to buy at retail stores, and not elite consoles that are extremely rare with only 10 or less released off-market. It sounds as if @
rockchalk is a new PS3 gamer to me?!
Sorry @
rockchalk, I think your best option is just to get a standard PS3 console with maybe a game bundle or whatever the best deals are available in the US. If you're planning predominantly game on it, you may as well just get a local console rather than a limited edition from a different region.
This is the only true LE PS3 console released in North American retail market, and probably not worth gaming on unless you only want it in your "collection".
