Sorry @ rockchalk, I think your best option is just to get a standard PS3 console with maybe a game bundle or whatever the best deals are available in the US. If you're planning predominantly game on it, you may as well just get a local console rather than a limited edition from a different region.
This is the only true LE PS3 console released in North American retail market, and probably not worth gaming on unless you only want it in your "collection".
