I don't find this attractive and I don't much class in it either. It doesn't help that the console design is low grade imo.
Such a design has succumb to publishers submitting little creativity with their so-called "Limited/Special Edition Console".

The original PS3 consoles were easy to throw decals onto it due to a plethora of room to do so. The original Slims got more creative with debossed designs and multiple paint colors.

The 3rd gen design is quite limited for bigger designs, though it's not impossible to actually be more creative on what it has to offer....so far none of the LE PS3 consoles show much of it.
