They are the biggest schmuck of a comnpany I have ever dealt with - tried to tell me to send it back, get receipt for cost, then they would send vouchers to the cost of post - I told them politely that store vouchers are not legal currency and are not a valid refund and why the hell would I want store credit for a store that has failed me at every single turn from the moment I ordered?
I told them that the only acceptable outcome now was a full refund immediately for money they had been holding of mine for over 8 weeks now and which I desperately need for Christmas and return labels to send the books back at THEIR expense not mine.
Told he hadn't the authoirty I asked to speak to someone who could make that call, the phone was quiet for a while then they took all my details and said I would get a call 'from the top' tomorrow... we'll see..

This was the email repsonse:

I have managed to push the case to the highest possible level in order to make sure you will get refund and delivery costs back as soon as possible.

Unfortunately the person who is in charge of Uplay Shop is not available today anymore and I have received confirmation that he will be able to contact you tomorrow, with all information about the issue and the way it is going to be solved.

Please understand how bad we feel while we are unable to solve this case instantly, especially you have been waiting for that long time.
We are doing our best to solve this issue as soon as possible, in the way that you wish.
