Can you guys help me out and tell me what you think about a hole punched through the barcode beneath the plastic wrap. I've got a few games like this where the game is factory sealed completely with no tears. I'm assuming it decreases the value? If so, how much? I was told that games with that hole (or scratched out bar code) were distributed internally at game studios to prevent resale.

I had few games like that with holes in it. It was meant for game developer or game journalist so they cannot resell them. Value wise Suikoden V sealed cost $80. The hole in the bar code will diminish the value by 10-15%. As for MGS3 LE, the current value would be around $350-500.
