Vib Ribbon Statuette - Designed & signed by Masaya Matsuura himself

I thought this would probably fit best in this segment.

Masaya Matsuura is the inventor and designer of Parappa the Rapper, UmLammer Jammy, Vib Ribbon. WinTa and recently Haunt. Het is considered to be the inventor of the modern music games and is a prize-winning designer in Japan.

He also happens to be a good good acquaintance of mine , and for our art dealership provided me with his last 9 Vib Ribbon statuettes (of a series of 50) that he designed himself in 1999. These have not yet been on sale before. They are numbered but these last 9 are the only ones he hand-signed himself before he send them over from Tokio.

Very cool!

I remember Parappa The Rapper and that was an amazing, creative and fun game. I heard a rumor about a possible remake of that in HD or something? I know I saw some kind of new news on Parappa...

I can't confirm a remake, however the game would be great for a touch based interface and I know Masaya-san likes to work with those as shown by WinTa on iPhone and iPad.

So maybe a Vita version in the making? Would be really cool
