EA are giving away these promotional VIP kits to selected celebrities and sports players in order to promote the new annual update of NCAA Football, despite the on-going disputes in the sport for the upcoming season

Wow they looks amazing, It's a good job it's for the useless NCAA and NFL sport games, otherwise I would be depressed it was USA only.

It appears that there are several variants on this as well, depending on which team they were given to. It is unclear how many of these exist, or who the other recipients were, but I am sure there will definitely be a demand for these by collectors, although I doubt very many of these will ever be sold privately (there's probably a clause stating that the recipients are never allowed to sell these)

It seems they were given to Athletes and celebrities who love the games...The Game and Bow Wow also got some, and I know The Game was #1 in the past few madden games and NCAA games, pretty amazing. It comes with an iPad 2 and Astro A40s, WOW. Even if it had no collector value this would be a $800+ item.

I really can't see any collector getting a hold of one of these unless they know personally someone who received one. It is most likely that the recipients will open it up, use the headset and use the ipad. Maybe one of the boxes will pop up somewhere down the line by I doubt it.

I have a feeling you'd be hard pressed to buy one of these for under a grand, even if it wasn't a CE, it'd be worth that much for the content alone.
