Are Ziplocs safe

Hi it's been a while, anyway I was looking at the steelbook I have from my GTA 5 collector's edition, and I wanted to know are ziploc's safe for steelbooks, mine is in a zip loc and then placed in the GTA 5 money bag, i'm getting the dark souls 2 steelbook soon so was wondering, are they safe, I don't care if people can't see them I prefer to keep them stashed in a safe place.

No reason to use ziplocs when you can just get custom sleeves or shells, which look a lot nicer anyway.

These are great for G2 steelbooks (they're made for HD-DVD, which is a tight fit for steelbooks, but no annoying overhead that needs to be taped down).
