Cities and Videogames posters
Sorry if this is inappropriate. If it's not in the right place, please let me know
A close friend of mine (someone I know personally for many years) is amazing at making hand sketches and also loves videogames. He's an architect/urban planner like me but he loves drawing and he's trying to make a living out of his passion for hand drawings and sketches. Right now he's doing something very interesting. He's actually making A3-sized posters from cities and locations from popular videogames, all hand drawn by himself with just digital finish. Take a look at his work: http://citiesandvideogames.blogspot.pt/ https://www.facebook.com/CITIESANDVIDEOGAMES?fref=ts Here's more of his work: https://www.facebook.com/stillsketch?fref=ts He's currently working on a website where you'll be able to order printed copies of those posters. It should be done soon. Please take a look and let me know what you think |

Re: Cities and Videogames posters
In my opinion, the text ruins the poster. There's no need to add the "Stillsketch presents", "Cities and Videogames" and "Name of the city" on top of the drawing when you already have that information on the lower part. My eyes go automatically there, it's distracting, the drawing/sketch is the important part, the text is unnecessary. Keep everything on the white frame.

Re: Cities and Videogames posters
I will let him know that, Thanks for the opinions. Right now those are the finished presentation images but I don't know if the print versions will be exactly like that.
