What's with CE's not getting the shrink wrap treatment?

Of the last few CE's I've bought, none of them have had shrink wrap over them. As I'm rather anal about my game boxes, it's starting to annoy me a little because due to packaging during shipment & storage, the box tends to get scuffed and/or otherwise marked that would be avoided if it had shrink wrap over it.

I'm thinking of investing in a shrink wrap machine for the few games I keep sealed.

Are the game companies just too stingy to cover the games anymore?
