Yeah, I think you're right. From memory that looks like the CE.
Nothing really special. |

Re: What does Dark Souls Japanese CE look like?
Early promo picture of japanese bundle with soundtrack and map:
Doesn't come with outer sleeve or box. Just two DVD cases. Artorias of the Abyss Edition is much nicer: http://collectorsedition.org/game-db...-edition-ps3-2 |

Re: What does Dark Souls Japanese CE look like?
The case with a soundtrack and map are a pre-order bonus basically, that´s why it doesn´t come with a sleeve or anything else. Nowadays you can find the bonus only for cheap, and with the game it´s not too expensive either, mostly due to the re-release.
The "Artorias of the Abyss Edition" box, which is more like a first print run, is rather hard to find (I mean new and sealed, if you don´t mind used it´s not that expensive or very hard to find, specially on yahoo auctions). I had one that I bought during the launch period and I noticed that not many shops were carrying it, so it contributed to price staying close to retail or higher at some points. Out of all the Dark Souls editions that I had to part with, this edition was certainly the one I miss the most, I loved it´s neat design and cover. |
