Default How would I go about selling a signed but sealed item?

The item I'm talking about is the World of Thedas Volume 2 Exclusive Edition. It was sold on the Bioware online store and the first 500 orders or something were signed.

I want to sell it, but don't know if I should keep it sealed or open it. The only way I can prove its signed is from the packing slip that says it is the signed edition. Would that be good enough for potential buyers?

What do you guys recommend? Open it or sell it using the packing slip as proof?

If it were me, I would try to sell it sealed, use the packing slip for proof. If you aren't doing it through eBay or if someone requests that you send pictures of the signature, maybe ask for a non-refundable deposit even if they choose to not buy. So this way you can sell the edition opened but still get comped for the loss of seal.

Don't know how you would feel about that but I guess it all depends on the potential buyer's knowledge of how these were sold. Hope that helps.
