Homefront Limited Edition has recently been listed on Game.co.uk

There is no information on the centents of the Limited edition but the price of £39.99 indicates that it will be like the the EA pre-order edition with DLC.

Yeah It looks THQ and other publishers are copying EA as they have seen how successfully it has been, but the price is still way out. It has to include something other than DLC. - I hope anyway

Another update.

It looks like this will be a first press pre-order edition and is to be called the Resist Edition.

Will include:

Homefront: Resist Edition Includes:

SteelBook packaging
870 Express Shotgun exclusive weapon
Day 1 multiplayer unlocks: Air Recon Drone, Auto Repair Ability and the SCAR-L Assault Rifle

Play.com PC listing - No word on a console release

So it misses out on some of the items in the AUS release, but the UK gets a nice steelbook, for the PC version anyway. Have to wait on console releases from GAME to see if they too are pre-order reisit editions.

PAH! At first I thought THQ were going to make an effort, but looks like they're copying EA's strategy now. Bad form THQ, bad form!

Annoyingly, the PC version has a SteelBook, which is what I expected from the console versions. If the consoles had've had the SteelBook, I would have bought it, but not going to bother if it's just going to be "Day One" DLC

Yeah, I guess this isn't great news if you only collect console CE's. But good for PC gamers.

If it turns out to be steelbook for the console aswell, then this isn't a bad release.

Free steelbook and DLC content is alot better than just DLC content from EA.

Only a month or so until Homefront is released. THQ needs to make it clear which special editions are getting released for their respective platforms.
