Gears of War 2 Promotional Full Color Steelbooks for sale
I have a few promo Steelbook cases for sale. They're Promotional Gears of War 2 full color Steelbook cases.
They might have light surface scratches throughout, but they're in otherwise great overall shape. $15 plus shipping sounds fair to me. Let me know if you're interested. Last edited by MortalMonday; 05-03-2012 at 03:21 AM. |

Re: Gears of War 2 Promotional Full Color Steelbooks for sale
I'm just gonna guess that it's $15 to ship one or two Steelbook cases anywhere overseas. Of course, I'd be shipping them using the most economical method possible which will not include a tracking number. If it ends up being cheaper, I'll gladly refund the full difference. If it's more expensive, I'll pay for it out of my own pocket.

There's both Priority Mail (about $17 for the small flat rate box; and you can fit two or three steelbooks in it), First Class Mail (a bit cheaper), and Express. Not sure why you'd need to ship Express; you aren't actually allowed to force gift payment here anyways.
Nice price though; I just wish the promo steelbook didn't look identical to the one in the cheap LE. |

Re: Gears of War 2 Promotional Full Color Steelbooks for sale
Express Mail International is the only service that includes a tracking number with the USPS for packages destined abroad. Whenever I accept payment from International buyers (that isn't sent using the gift option) for stuff that I sell, I have to get a tracking number. I need the tracking number to prove that I've mailed the package/s. That's why I only ship Express Mail International in those circumstances.
Of course, my apologies for breaking site rules. I'll update the posting. |

No worries. Any form of USPS international shipping (even First Class) provides a DC number though. You can find it on your copy of the customs form. DC numbers prove you sent it the same as a tracking number will, but they won't have the frequent tracking updates that a tracking number will have; they'll likely just show when you gave it to the post office, when it was sent to the sorting facility, and when it arrived.
I think they make it difficult on purpose, in any case. |

I know about the customs form number, but it's seriously not reliable at all. Believe me, I've looked in to using only the customs form number, but it's just not a viable option at all.

Well, for forum sales I use it, and it does prove that you shipped the item. I haven't run into any issues as far as it not coming up with results in the USPS site.
To each his own of course. |
