kickstarter CE ideas

Hey,

I have a friend who has formed their own little kickstarter to fund a partial in progress videogame

i asked if they had considered any collectors edition type items and they said they would be interested and possibly add them into the tiers, the only question is what should they make, im including a link to the kickstarter project so you can get an idea of what the game is about.

ive also mentioned that it would be preferred if these things were limited and numbered as people do like limited items

any thoughts would be great, the friend is a great artist although a little insane

So are you thinking about physical CE items or in-game CE items?

Physical as most of thier tiers include digital items

i would suggest SEALED Steelbook, and a nice high quality sturdy outside box.

I'm particular to both of the above myself but.....

Seeing as how the minimum order quantity is like 4000 for steelbooks, don't think it's practical

A nice physical copy of the game in special packaging would be a nice start to a good CE

Honestly when I watched the video about the game I thought the characters seemed to move as if by puppet strings at times

Maybe make a doll of one of the characters but puppet-like?

Just random thoughts

But a doll of some character or major boss would be nice doesn't have to be too big or anything

Otherwise a nice art book might be more up the creators alley

Maybe bound some himself and print the pages with high quality photo paper?

Not sure how hard it is to leather bound something but leather / pleather would be nice

perhaps do the obligitary: figurine + steelbook + (perhaps) artbook + DLC.

For the figurine it should be an action scene, perhaps of the final boss versus a player in armour that conceals all details.

The DLC could be items and missions, preferrably coming on a second disc with the option to install it via said disc.

EDIT: Perhaps everyone who donates over (and including) $100 could recieve a copy of the CE as well?

I think an art/concept book is a must, and a relatively easy item to manufacture.
Numbered certificate of authenticity is also a must.

A figurine would be nice, but dont know if possible to make in low quantities. Maybe a set of keyrings of the main characters (ala little big planet keyrings).
