Hey all. Hoping to get some opinions of how much this CE is worth. It's post sale unfortunately, my fault for not doing the proper homework, but still wanna try nail the d### that sold it to me... a Crysis 2 Nano Edition. Advertised as the PS3 version. Bought it for (roughly converted) 125 Euros. The guy, from an online competition, won the XBox 360 version. So the outer sleeve is for the X360. He swapped out the disc and placed an LE disc for PS3. Also placed LE DLC in the box. Keeping in mind non of this is mentioned, and i just took it for granted... the statue hadn't had the batteries changed in 2 years and were leaking (i had to clean it up), luckily no physical damage. The art book cover is slightly damaged. At least the backpack is minty as well as the actual steelbook.
Have i been shafted in this deal? how much would this "incomplete" CE really be worth to a not-so-serious-but-pedantic collector?
PS: is the PS3 steelbook smaller in size to the X360 steelbook?

That's not a bad price although it's rather strange chain of events

So is the steelbook case DVD/ Xbox sized? As the PS3 case is smaller and worth a bit more

But then again an ok price for it so long as that includes shipping etc.

uhm, ya it is strange. I'm just mad coz i was expecting something and got another thing...
The steelbook is DVD sized. I guess i havent gotten much into steelbook collecting si i wasnt sure. Thing is, my N7 edition of Mass Effect 3 is dvd sized but that is definitely from a PS3 copy...
Shipping was an extra cost on my part. Was within borders, but due to the size of the box was about another 25 Euros (roughly converted)

But thanks for the reply. It's awesome that there's "independant evaluators" out there that can help out.

Yeah it's still a pretty good price although would be interesting how you would go about it reselling it as you'd have to explain why a PS3 game is in a Xbox CE

Anyways about the steelbook, DVD sized steelbooks are referred to as G1 size, PS3 / Blu-ray sized steelbooks are referred to as G2 size

Often time publishers will make 1 size steelbook (G1 size) for both PS3 and Xbox CE's to save money even though the case size for PS3 games is G2 and therefore PS3 steelbook cases should be G2 sized. Bad Publishers

There is most definitely a G2 steelbook for the Crysis 2 Nano Edition and it is usually more sought after

Lol... True although despite its provenance the chest is still a unique and limited thing as it has been 'created' especially and there will only ever be 10 official ones...

AC3 (only case)(G2)
FFXiii-2 (only cases)(x2 G1)
Resi 6 (Unopened, German edition???) (G2)
Fear 3 (Game incl)(G2)

All minty fresh too. Will post pics as soon as i figure out how to post pics from my PC.
Just wanna know if the seller is being reasonable with his asking price.
