i received my premium package today morning + black raiden PAK figure, i call it TruenoStyle lol
3 days via ems is awesome for 60$ and 160$ for both figure and the premium package far more better than any non standard edition out there especially the american version which sucks. the european one have a better looking box than the US one but that white figure isnt attractive but easily beats a stupid plasma lamp well collectors items wise. so for the best quality and value, the japanese LE rules like always after that european for konami/mgs games that is. american gets the worst editions sadly.
oh did i mention that i hate MG Rising alot ?! lol dont ask :p

it seemed like a murky glass bottle at first
but when you turn it on... oh geewhiz!!
i have never seen any game collectible like this
oh wow gotta say im kinda impressed and no longer regret buying the LE

hehe nah, for 150 its not worth it mate, if you think this collectible items is awesome, you didnt see the fallout new vegas neon sign, thats what i call a real collectible piece involving a lighting source item.
i would prefered the limited edition to include the mini replica letter cutter of raiden sword instead of this plasma lamp :p

Nah I think the lamp is pretty cool. I wasn't so sure about it at first but I don't regret getting it. To each their own I guess. I did want the Raiden figure more than the lamp, but I don't regret it. I'm buying the black Raiden once it's available in the states so it's ok. As for the people asking for the gameplay, it's awesome. Platinum games makes some awesome, over the top games, and Rising is no exception. It makes you feel like a badass when you're playing. I would agree with a prior post that it's more like Ninja Gaiden than Devil May Cry, but that's not a bad thing. If you like hack and slash games, even if you don't like Metal Gear, this game is definitely worth a shot, or you could always download the demo for a taste.

well if am going to state whats wrong with rising this will be a long post.
as a long time metal gear fan, i can identify tiny details that makes rising bad as a spin-off for other metal gear fans.but i cant force my professional opinion on non metal gear fans who just enjoy rising as a whole new game for its hack and slash gameplay.
am yet to finish it. after that will attack konami PG and kojima
sadly they wont care what i think as long its still selling and bringing them profit so its pointless nowadays.....

well technically, it isnt a 'Metal Gear Solid' game
so, no sneaking!

but well, yeah, i would advise people to try the demo before buying, so they wont be disappointed

i dont know why they bothered with the alert/cation phase in rising, they thought the series fans will appreciate it, HA !! not with the core gameplay is action cut what you will style.
people these days dont even bother with demos after release just a quick look at review scores and thats an immediate buy for them.....sadly.
btw AC!D was a better spin-off than rising :p am not saying i dont like slash n hack but they should have left metal gear brand out of it am talking about PG taking over and spill all of bayontta and vanqish influence over it not to mention some ex-capcom stupid idea to make mistral look like lucia.
just finished it and i must say its horrible .....
slashing gameplay mechanic is ok but anything else they thought is related to metal gear as a series was a joke and not even worth the time and dedication.
this is only a tiny part of why the whole thing is crap.
oh well its not over yet with PG as kojima wants them to make another one....maybe just maybe they learn how to make it stands out and being true to the metal gear series but i personally doubt it as i know now how the operate when developing a game which isnt theirs to begin with.
