I have a question though, since I won't receive mine in quite a while. Was it sealed/shrink-wrapped?

It looks really good, got a nice glow to it And yeah it was sealed, however it was packaged in a really flimsy, (lightly) bubble-padded envelope. I got lucky but it would be really easily dented/damaged if it was mishandled!

Cello sealed, with tear strip (the best kind )

Well, I sure hope Zavvi used cardboard as they usually do with int'l shipping, hopefully I will receive mine without any issues.

If they still have stock by next month I'm tempted to get an extra one, just in case.

So does a G1 exist or not?

I took that photo when nipperkipper posted it and measured the ratio of the sides to try and verify

It was most certainly closer to G1 in that picture
