Konami will release a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Special Edition in Japan on December 5, the company announced.

It will include the full game and all of its post-release downloadable content wrapped in a special metallic silver jacket.

The downloadable content includes the 30 VR Missions with Snake Soul Wooden Sword weapon, Jetstream and Blade Wolf stories, and five Raiden costumes: Cyborg Ninja, Metal Gear Solid 4 Raiden, White Armor Raiden, Inferno Armor Raiden, and Commando Armor Raiden.

The special edition will also include a Metal Gear Rising PlayStation 3 theme.

It will launch for 2,480 yen at retail and download.

pretty cool but it seems like a standard game of the year type release with a foil cover for box art in a standard game case...maybe this means NTSC will also get a "game of the year" edition sometime in 2014.

I hope so Twisted, I saw this game in the bargain bin several times. A special edition with every DLC for $25 is great

im getting this just for the boxart, since its pretty cheap (even though in Japanese)
