10th Anniversary re-release Tales of Symphonia Chronicles will launch in Europe for PlayStation 3 on 28th February 2014, publisher Namco Bandai has announced.

The compilation contains GameCube classic Tales of Symphonia and its follow-up Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, now with refreshed HD graphics and the original Japanese voice-overs.

The game's goodie-laden Collector's Edition will also reach these shores, although will be limited to 10,000 copies across Europe and Australasia.

The Collector's Edition contains a set of five figures featuring stars Lloyd, Colette, Emil, Marta and Tenebrae, a two-disc soundtrack and a never-before-released-in-English novel that bridges the gap between games.

Well they did get a metalpak...which yes it's not a steelbook, but close enough.

*Disclaimer: Close enough stands for good enough to the average consumer and does not include the average collector who knows well enough that a metalpak is to not be mistaken as a steelbook. The above statements of "close enough" does not reflect my personal views.

It was, but ToX got a metalpak (NOT STEELBOOK) nevertheless.

I wasn't sure if he meant within the CE or just in general.

GAMESTOP lists STEELBOOK (USA) as part of the Collectors edition package..amazon has not listed steelbook as of yet..but it was said on a different thread Namco said STEELBOOK will also be listed on amazon once design is confirmed..that is why amazon is not listing it yet..they want to put pic of steelbook on page once design is confirmed..so YES collectors edition WILL INCLUDE STEELBOOK (US) edition..not sure about PAL.

I doubt EU region will have it. Every namco bandai CE so far for EU is so disappointing. Mainly ni no kuni
