Yeah but they're the same price? I'm not big on figurines/statues and stuff, so I can't see why or how the rarer piece would sell for the same as the 950 pieces...

Exactly. It should be cheaper since there is less done to it. Painting isn't free, it takes materials, times, effort to finish the product. Unpainted should be $200 or less.

The price is also because of the Artist-Proof status. Though it's technically the "same" statue, Artist-Proof statues are personally approved by the sculptor himself as the first production pieces.

So these "AP" statues are more desired by statue collectors. So I'm sure McFarlane wants to take advantage of that, so they are selling a number of them.

These are no real artist proof no way. The just dont paint some of the real production.

Anyways, when i would live in the usa i would buy it directly.

But with shipping and customs its going probably going to be 400-425 dollar which is a bit expensive. I can get a ps4 for that.

Spoiler!

Thank you for the heads up. I wish it was more unique than just a different base compared to the US statue. Plus since it's from ubishop and they hate their US fans, it'll never be sold here.
