I am thinking that this may turn out to be exactly like the original release, where it is offered in Europe, but not the UK. I am hoping GAME gain the exclusive for this here, to make up for the farce regarding the last Two Worlds II CE

I can't confirm, but judging by the description on amazon.de website, this edition may only be in German language??

Check the "Sprache" [Language] description for the standard and GOTY editions.

LOL the game guide was only in german as well. I had the english version preordered and was informed that it's cancelled. Topware hates english

After what seem like an eternity the PS3 version is finally available front the 9th Dec 2011.

Not sure where these pre-orders are but Amazon.de have it in stock as well as Amazon.co.uk.

I don't understand why Topware took so long but at least PS3 owners can finally get a copy.

So what's the deal with this release in the end? Was it officially released in the UK? I spotted a listing on Amazon.co.uk, but was wondering whether this is legit UK stock, or like the Royal Edition where all copies are European?

That is correct, Topware released this edition with 4 languages on the disc and case.

They used the Amazon distribution network to sell these in each country and therefore Amazon technically had the exclusive rights. There is no BBFC version, instead the case like many recent games have a USK and a PEGI logo on case.
