Simple God of War Collector from Philippines

It is very intriguing how some of you collect ONLY for 1 specific game series. It's quite fascinating to be honest. I can't figure out how you come to decide you will collect for ONLY 1 game series. Can you (Lennu) or AJ explain how you came to be manogamous collectors? With the bevy of equally amazing games that exist today, how can one stay true to a single series? Discuss.

I am sure it is different for everyone and their reasons, but my main is that I just really like inFamous. I have played the first game a ridiculous amount of times now, and inFamous 2 at least 3 times now. I wasn't a super inFamous collector until I started to notice myself gravitating towards those items, then I just decided I should just try to get ~*~all the things~*~ because I had so many already...

Also, inFamous is not my only collection...|D I do still buy other games sometimes and their CEs...but I also collect Resistance stuff, just not as much as inFamous. I have some neat items for that one anyway.

Ahh. So it's possible I didn't realize most single series' collector's have that certain game series as their one, true love yet still branch out with other collectibles. I get it nao! That's "kinda" how I am but I branch out pretty far. My primary interest and number one love is all things Dead Space. So I guess I could call myself a "Dead Space" collector! lol Cool!

I only learned to play this game when I copied a PSP games to my best friend. I played Chains of Olympus (that has no cinematic) it’s a nice game but at that time I don’t know the story of God of War then my best friend came to my house and sold me a backup copy of God of War 2, nice graphics but it hanged up because it’s a backup copy! So God of War 2 intrigued me why the hell this guy became the God of War? I decided to buy an original copy of God of War 1, 2 & Chains of Olympus. I played it to know the story of Kratos and I also love Greek mythologies. That time I have 3 God of War games and waiting my hp recovery disc from my cousin in the U.S but she lost it, I told her to replace it and the replacement is PS3 disc God of War Collection. And that time I saw the God of War 3 trailer on youtube then I say to my self “if my cousin bought the God of War Collection with a E3 demo of God of War 3 I will collect all the God of War series”. When the disc arrived and saw it, it have the E3 demo of God of War 3 then my journey collecting God of War started. Collecting this items is only by accident if my God of War collection don’t have a E3 demo I will not collect the series. I also play different games like Resident Evil, Valkyrie Profile, Final Fantasy, Devil may cry etc. I also have a Guitar Hero collection I know how to play a real guitar but playing the plastic guitar controller is fun. All in all my God of War collection is by accident but I’m happy with it and waiting for another God of war series. By the way I only have PS2 and PSP that’s why my PS3 discs are sealed and I never have a chance to play them.

God of War: Press Kit is the first collectors item I have bought for a good amount of money but collecting really started after I found out about LiquidOcelot's MGS collection. I wish I can collect from one series only (which is more affordable) but I cannot let go of any rare items that I have. I might sell my Killzone items though, I wonder if anyone would be interested?

I've lost my interest in Killzone in a similar fashion. Someday I might sell my killzone stuff as well...

I hate downloadable demo specially for God of War! Does anybody have some news if there will be a voucher just like the Ghost of Sparta demo or disc will be release?
