Just got 360 and PS3 promo copies of MGS Rising for 7 quid each, 360 is still sealed, not a bad price.

The statue is OK
It was shipped in a snug/tight fitting standard single layer corrugated cardboard box (the box that came from the statue maker as it bares all the details about the statue size, weight, name and number (yep the outer brown shipping box says assassins creed brotherhood figure, 1316/2000

Well, that's cool that you got it at least!

Bummer that it came beat up like that though... hate it when they do that, especially on a limited box like that

Sucks that boxes were dented... but on the bright side it was free right?

I am someone who does not keep statues in boxes... I feel if i like it enough to buy it I want to display it (I suppose in some cases statues have boxes that have good windows but that seems rare to have decent viewing windows)... so the box really has no value to me. Like my Kindoms of Amalur statue boxes, they both have the number on them and both are damaged a little but they sit in my closet anyways. But I know some collectors love their box as much as their $300 statue, to each their own.

Do you like the statue itself? Were you looking forward to the box or is it just the point of it should not have arrived damaged?

Yes it was free
I was looking forward to opening it
I'm not blown away by the statue
Their appear to be some casting flaws that should have been removed, and the paint detail is good but I expected 280gbp worth of detail, bit it does no look like that is the case

Now I need to decide what I am going to do with it

I really like the box, its a lot better then I thought it would be
