Forbidden Planet do pack these books really really well
That's a really generous offer! Just out of interest, would you be able to check how much it would cost to ship one to Australia (Postcode: 7008) if you took most of the excess packaging off it?

Hi there

Just on the case with this now so will happily check

The books actually come very well packed in a folded card outer that protects the book. They weigh 1720g in this box. It could be bubble wrapped as it is and then wrapped in brown paper which would keep it under 2kg or I also have slim packing boxes that the bubble wrapped boxed book could be shipped in as an additional protective layer prob taking it just over 2kg - depends how important the brown book box is to you as the corners may get bumped on a long journey with the first packaging but the book should be ok inside

Let me know your preference and I'll price up

Thanks so much for that

Yeah I've seen the card outer before and really like that method, my Halo: The Art of Building Worlds limited edition was shipped from the UK in one too and it did a great job of protecting the book!! I think I'll go with that first option you suggested, as it seems like a good mix of protection and minimizing cost

The quote I got from Forbidden Planet was 38 GBP per book, which seems sort a high considering my Halo book (same dimensions, format and weight) only cost 10 GBP to ship!

Here you go - I'll put it here rather than pm as others may wish to get an idea

These are prices for region 2 countries via Royal Mail

If we pack it lightly under 2kg

Your pricing results for a delivery to region 2 weighing 1900 grams are...
Royal Mail
Service International Standard (no tracking)
Delivery aim 5 to 7 working days
Compensation Up to £20
Tracking No
Price £25

International Tracked & Signed
Delivery aim 5 to 7 working days
Up to £50
Delivery Confirmation £30.00

If it gives over 2kg with an extra packing box then printed paper rates apply:

For international standard (no tracking)
Up to 2kg £25.00
Every additional 250g or part thereof up to 5kg add £2.85
So should be £27.85

For international tracked and signed
Up to 2kg £30.00
Every additional 250g or part thereof up to 5kg add £2.85
So should be £32.85

I can check a couple of courier brokers but don't think the prices will be any better than that. I'll check now

I really want it, but at the same time I'm glad it wasn't offered here lol.

I have not bought a Titanbook yet, but I told myself if I ended up buying Watchdogs, I would go ahead and try to buy the majority of the ones they have released that interest me (like AC, Castlevania, etc)

So I guess I dodged a bullet lol

Fantastic those prices sound much better than FB! I might PM you to organise the forwarding in about a week or two if I decide to buy one if that's okay with you

Hahaha I think I could live with that Yeah I know what you mean, its usually a lot easier to get things from the US to Australia so its really annoying that they didn't sell it in the US!!

Normally i'd say yes you have, but titan books are amazing quality, and the detail they put into their editions is worth the price in my opinion. Especially the AC IV and watch dogs art books
