I'm with ya Flatty. Out of all the promo art, trailers, videos, etc. etc. I don't recall seeing the ghost hardly at all. Thus, that "ghost" is not emblematic whatsoever of the series. It doesn't scream "Destiny" to me at all. Its neat and I'll get it, but its definitely not a "WOW, look at THAT!!!" addition to the CE.

Yeah it is a $50 paper weight the talks and is not all that good looking.

It would be like if Killzone Shadow Fall made a CE with a Drone replica.... and that was actually a cooler design as far as a figure would be concerned. Although the Ghost is your connection to the Traveler but the Traveler thing would have been a better idea as an iconic figure. Seeing how it is on every poster out there for Destiny. The Ghost shows up in cutsceney areas (technically he is always there with you) and also when you hit start to open you hud. It is just very low on the list of things that would have been neat for a figure.

Oh well... too late now. I just wish these marketing companies actually had real collectors making the decisions. Or at the very least do polls on what you want like Saints Row did.

I nominate Destiny for shittiest CEs of the year in terms of price/what you get.

Do they really think that floating triangle looks good? $150 for that? and $100 for a steelbook, cheap merch and DLC codes?

I agree, it really sucks they did this.

$100 for everything but the Ghost and then another $50 for the floating triangle.

As I keep spewing... a small version of the Fallen Captain Statue would have been the best thing they could have done. That enemy is very iconic of Destiny already and that statue they had made was amazing (I would have been happy even if they shrunk it way down and made it of plastic... that's better then a plastic Ghost). Or one of the guardian classes would have been the next choice... and if only one Warlock is by far the coolest and most popular.

Hmmm... didn't even think about the cost/value calculation - that $100 CE DOES seem really pathetic when you point it out like that. I also am not a fan that now companies seem to be making the $150 price-range CE the "norm" - and giving no more (and usually less) things included. Thanks Ubisoft (and Titanfall) for that one!

For $150 there really should be at least an artbook or something...

Holy Sheit.... it is sold out already on both GameStop and Amazon. And GameStop didn't list theirs until long after Amazon did.

i actually was able to reserve my xbox one version today at an actual gamestop store lol

so stoked but i have to agree the edition was a bit disappointing but hopefully they put a lot of workmanship in it and it will be quality

the titanfall collectors edition sucked ass. i was so PISSED! *at both the edition and the game lol*

Tell me about it. I pay $200 for it in Australia with little Ghost costs $70 upgrade. Limited cost $130.

UK have it rougher with the logic of $1 = 1GBP. Paying almost $250.
