Video Game Standees

How do you guys get them apart from Ebay. I mean, someone must get them somehow to be able to put them up on Ebay in the first place. So... how?

I think most standees are from stores. Maybe managers of the stores are giving them to people after the game is released.

Yeah, the ones I get come from me just knowing some store managers who give them to me when they're no longer part of their "marketing floor plan". You just gotta know when they're changing plans (usually) so they don't get tossed out.

Also there's a few stores here in the US that sell them separately as well, mostly music/movie stores or places like Newbury Comics.

I've had a couple from my local independent games store, I just went in and offered the guy a fiver for each and he accepted, said he would probably have thrown them out anyway. Just try your luck.

The ones I have are from gamestop.

I aksed them if they were going to throw them away, and if I could grab them if they were.
