So I must admit (again) that I'm a little annoyed that Ubisoft is releasing this "CE CE" Guide Book -- the box is so odd shaped that its not going to fit alongside my other CE Guides for the AC series in the bookshelf, or at the very least take up a lot of space. Also, if I DID take the guide out of the box, its going to be different from the "CE Guide" for this right? So do I now have to buy ANOTHER CE guide to put in the stack of books or is this guide the same as that one (just without the bonuses)?

OH yeah... and are they going to be offering some lithos or something in the regular CE guide that's not offered in this one? Pssh... just annoys me. If so, I'll get the CE guide too, but probably wait til its pennied out at a GS or something.

I'm pretty sure its just the CE guide as is available separately
I believe this because nowhere lists that the guide is any different to the CE guide available seprately

The description for the CE guide and the one included in initiate edition are identical

Hmmm...I thought I read somewhere (maybe Amazon?) about it having a "soft plush" cover and 32 pages of exclusive artwork or something?? I hope you're right though!

Well, I guess I was close. Here's the description on the Amazon site:

Quote:
The weathered box is embellished with the Assassin’s crest. Beneath the lid rests the mystical chalice and a rough-edged, sealed scroll bearing the Assassin’s creed. Hidden deeper within the secret compartment is the hardcover strategy guide, which features high-res cover art on a premium soft-touch dust jacket, 32 pages of bonus content, and the expert strategies and tactics needed to discover all the secrets of Revolutionary Paris.
But I thought that it was "exclusive", it appears it does NOT say that, so I'm hopeful!

So I know the "New Employee Handbook" has been talked about a bit but I'm a little confused and was wondering if anybody else was too, it's just that on Amazon.co.uk I've found two listings of it but I have no idea what the difference is, if there even is a difference (besides price).

They are listed as different publishers and the second is listed as apparently being .6cm thicker than the first, also the pictures used to illustrate them are different.

Here they are:
One
Two

This is confusing
One of them is amazing nsmistake
Insight editions and titan books are both owned by the same company
The books will be the same but 'may' have different ISBN once released
Either they will turn out to be the same book
Or one will be taken from European printing factory and other from US printing factory or they'll be the same, I haven't asked Amazon but may do later today so all this is speculation

Assassin's Creed Collecting is so complicated..

If you ask me, the stand-alone CE guide should be the exact same one as the one in the Initiate Edition. You can just buy the Initiate Edition and then buy the CE guide later if it isn't the same.

Picked up the new El Cakr, Volume 5 graphic novel from Titan, they were selling it about a month early at NYCC yesterday.
