I doubt if that's true. You can buy two versions of a game in Japan as far as I know - the standard Japanese version or English (NA) version. From what I saw on Amazon.co.jp, the English version doesn't come with the pre order bonus as the standard Japanese version does.

I don't think the Japanese version will have English voice and text.

Good luck with that. It looks like the game comes in the steelbook and not separate.

Hauser from the other Evil Within thread mentioned a place in Japan, selling these much cheaper than ebay.
