Playstation Experience (Dec 6-7) Exclusives & Goodies Thread

I know a few members here going, but for those of you that are not aware (and living under a rock) Playstation is throwing a massive convention for the fans in honor of Playstation brand hitting its 20th anniversary. The event is being held at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Now as the title suggests, there will be exclusive merch at this event which I'll try to update this thread with as best I can...and from what I've been told, expect to see a lot of really nice exclusives here.

PlayStation Experience is a massive two-day community event dedicated to the people who bring PlayStation to life, our fans. At PlayStation Experience you will have access to over 400,000 square feet of the best PlayStation games across multiple platforms, panels and keynotes lead by the industry’s most regarded development team, contests, signings, giveaways,
merchandise, memorabilia and much more.

Coincidentally, the Game Awards (formerly known as VGAs/VGX) will be happening the day before the PS Experience a block away from the convention.

Exclusives & Goodies

Now I'll only be listing items that were either exclusive to the event or have premiered at PSX. There were a fair number of rare/out of print items either given away or sold as well that I won't bother mentioning.


Playstation Experience Official Swag Bag

This was given to everyone attending the event along with an empty playing card box and $10 PSN prepaid card.

Nice! That gives me hope that there'll be some merchandise from franchises I like (since I don't like many of the "newer" ones). If you see anything Tomb Raider/Final Fantasy/Old-school Ps1 RPGs (especially Suikoden!)/etc. drop me a line bud!

About two days ago I received this mysterious video in my inbox with no description of what I was looking at. I'm assuming it's relating to something being shown at the PS Experience..?

Any ideas of what this could be? The title spelt backwards is "NO GAME", so I assume it's not game related..?...All I know is, playstation be trollin.

If sony pulled a TGS 2014 and had gift shops full of merch from their older franchises that would be awesome...but suikoden??...I think you're more likely to find a Mario there.

Live Hohokum DJ Music Spectacular

"A curtain call performance on Saturday night from 6PM to 8PM, Ghostly International artists Shigeto and Michna will remix their tunes from Hohokum and perform fresh sets you won’t hear anywhere else.

This is an exclusive PlayStation Experience live music gig at the PlayStation Worldwide Studios Community space. They will also be on hand to sign the new Hohokum rainbow spotted vinyl, which you can pick up at the show."

PlayStation Experience Collectable Cards




"It wouldn’t be Las Vegas without some card games! At PlayStation Experience, there will be 54 collectible cards scattered throughout the event. Only the most dedicated PlayStation fans will go home with a complete deck. We aren’t allowed to disclose where to get each card, but let’s just say that we may or may not have a rare card at the PlayStation Worldwide Studios community space…"
