Anticipated Retro City Rampage DX Limited Retail Edition (2000 units)

I did not even hesitate to get this after missing the original PS4 version. Even if the production number is higher than before, I don't see this as a mass production retail version, considering it's exclusively sold through that website. In order to avoid regrets, I've instantly bought it. Someone could try the old trick and add a big number of copies to the cart to see how many they're producing, but I don't know if that works. I also bet that opening preorders now without listing the production number is just a way to determine the general interest of costumers for this game and find out how many they should produce. This might also mean that they could end preorders out of a sudden when they reach a significant number, such as 5000 preorders or something like that.

Same here, I was a bit bummed too having missed the PS4 version. It´s not like I´m anticipating the game that much, but I love these kinda limited releases and love to support small developers.

anyways, if anyone is thinking of buying the game, the soundtrack is 10 bucks, so you might want to ship them together to save on shipping (i noticed it too late after i placed the order )

I agree! I wish I had of picked up the PS4 version. Limited numbers overdo anything for me when it comes to CEs or games in general. If I had the PS4 version, I'd definitely snag the Vita version (And I don't even have a Vita)...

Now the developer is saying the PS VITA pre orders are closed, but 300 copies will be made available right after pre order fulfillment for general sale.

The preorders probably slowed to a crawl. With this announcement of the preorder window closing, I'm guessing he's banking on that announcement to sell a few more copies.
