Cool stuff but we want actual gameplay and new merch. I think the ring and those new terrrible tlou lithographs made me stop being a completionist...:-\

I think the PR version from the first game had a 1500 or so produced (that was quite a few years ago, and I didn't work on that project. I do know that they used an "off the shelf" catalog box and printed the logo on it, where this new box was custom made specifically for this project. Also, that original ring got nicknamed "the pipe fitting" by some folks internally because of how beefy it was. ;-)



I believe that original box has a bit more red in the stain, but we did use the original clasp.

Not sure what you mean about wanting gameplay. Are you talking about in the trailer? This was meant to be more of a teaser trailer. I'm not sure when they are planning to reveal gameplay as that's not my dept. As far as new merch goes, we're working on developing more. My group doesn't handle lithos but an official silver ring was something a lot of people were requesting as there were a lot of knock offs being made. We wanted to release something that was designed by ND to make it as authentic as possible.

If you have ideas for Collectibles that you'd like to see, please post them or email me at gary_barth@playstation.sony.com. I don't have final say (ND does), but all ideas will be given consideration as we're looking to create a product line that has something for everyone. Collecting is very subjective which is we want to make our offerings as diverse as possible.
