Hi Gang,

Sorry I've been so radio silent I've got lots of projects going and I just got back from China where I was checking out new factories.

Couple facts about the Uncharted busts...

1) These will be limited edition and numbered. I just need to lock the quantity, which I will do shortly
2) We are very close to locking a deal with SCEE to sell the products I develop in Europe, hopefully starting with these busts
3) I'm still making a few tweaks to the models to make them even better
4) A lot of sculptors are going the digital route (yes, even SS and GG use them). It's easier to control changes to the scale. So, I could hire a digital sculptor to do an entirely new sculpt, but it's more accurate if I use the game model and modify it. Now, that being said, I still love practical sculpts and I will use them whenever it makes sense. Currently, Tim Miller is doing a practical sculpt for a collectible of one our classic game characters.

Hope this answers a few questions,

Gary

Thanks for the info! Good to know the busts are limited. Btw the price is great!

Good to know they are limited for sure, I assumed they would be. You might want to tell them in the future to add "Limited Edition (Batch size to be announced)" or something like that to it and to future ones. Without it it throws off collectors as you have seen.

Good news for EU

On the 3D thing I think the listing is worded incorrectly (or it give off the incorrect idea anyways)... I think Ken thought of "3D Printing" and not Sculpting (I thought of it too but kind of knew it could not be the case with nice statues). So might want to have them change that to "3D Sculpted" instead.

I have this weird thing going on where Drake looks slightly different in my mind, so anytime I see these sculpts I think they are "off" even though it is obviously my brain that is off since these are based on the digital models...

Other than my own issues, I think these look great! Sully and Elena look exactly as I'd expect.

I have this issue too, and I see it with Drake a bit. But statues when they do smaller faces almost never look what we think of as a perfect match to in-game (partly due to the change in media, digital to physical).
