That's a strange one - I've not personally heard of it before but makes me want to check mine out again as its not assembled at the moment....

Have you checked carefully to make sure the water has never broken and been glued back in place? I know of a couple of these that got broken on original shipping If it was it could be just very slightly out of place....

Water is fine.

It is the position of cape (which hasn't been broken either) that's causing troubles.

I actally like that "incorrect" pose - seems like there is (very) heavy wind and he standing against it

I like to interpret it that way too. But then I remember it is incorrect after all...

I feel the same way as you when it comes to "defects." I do my very best to justify it, but I always have the thought lingering in the back of my head.

I recently bought McFarlane's Edward Kenway resin statue (coloured one).
I bought it on eBay. The statue was brand new and in it's original (McFarlane's) shipping box/packaging.

Upon assembling of the statue I noticed that Edward is leaning forward (the position of his cape, which is different from the one on the statues I can find on internet, doesn't allow me to slide Edward's legs completely into the holes).

Does anyone else have this problem? Did anyone at least hear of it?
I bought mine direct from McFarlane when it was released and it looks like your cape appears to be totally different on that section. I don't have time to upload picture right now, but on mine the brown cape part is totally outside the blue cape part so it doesn't touch the splash. Must be something with the mold on yours although hard to fathom how that occurs since I assume they are all cast from the same mold.
